Hello Everyone,
I am an Asian female living in Melbourne, looking for a travel companion for 4 days trip in Kyoto to share food and exchange cultural experience.
I would love to attend Jidai Matsuri (Festival of the Ages) and Kurama-no-himatsuri (Kurama Fire Festival) on 22nd October.

I'm in tokyo for language school in October, but I plan to go to Kyoto around the same time the festivals are. Maybe we can travel together?

Hi Schii, I am also vacationing in Japan during that time. I have not yet planned anything for the days that coincide with Jidai Matsuri. I would be very interested in attending that. Food is also something I am happy to discover in Japan. I am fluent in English, French and I also speak a bit of Mandarin. Although I try to acquire Japanese vocabulary on a daily basis, I cannot speak Japanese yet. I won't be too far from Kyoto as I will be in Osaka for a few months.
