Views of Tokyo from Bunkyo Civic Center
Shinjuku City Hall (Tocho) seems to be the most famous spot to shoot aerial photos of Tokyo. Let me introduce you the Bunkyo Civic Center, a 535 feet tall building completed in 1970. Although most floors are devoted to business, there are few shops and restaurants.
At the top of the building, you can enjoy a panoramic view from the interior terrace, almost 360 degrees on Tokyo and the surrounding area. During days of good weather, you can even see Mount Fuji. Be careful: the top floor (#26) called “Sky Hall” is reserved for banquets and receptions such as weddings. You may stop on 25th floor 北 (north) to find the Lounge in order to admire the views over the capital.
