British Male 43 - 3 week Japan tour Food/History/Festivals October 24

Hi,

I am a currently planning a Trip to Japan mid October to early November and have rough itinerary planned which hopefully includes the Festival of ages and fire festival in Kyoto and the Meiji-Jingu Yabusame in Tokyo and catching the Hiroshima Food Festival at the end of October, with day trips to Nara and Himeji as well as a couple of days relaxing in Nikko before heading home at the start of November.
I am looking at combining trying some great food, visiting some awesome sites, historic and modern and just absorbing myself into the Japanese culture. I would love to find some travel companions who are looking to visit Japan at the same time and maybe share some of these experiences.

Not too fussed if you are young or old, in my spare time I volunteer with teenagers in Scouts, and work in Digital Transformation and like to think I can converse and get on with most people no matter the age. Not really into the clubbing scene, too old for that now, however maybe a one off in Tokyo maybe an experience not to be missed.
