Fellow traveller in Osaka early November 2025

I’m from Australia and I’ll be in Osaka and surrounding areas from 3rd Nov for 2 weeks. I’m travelling solo and would enjoy to spend a day or so with someone doing a similar adventure. I have no locked-in itinerary but was hoping to take a couple of rail trips to less busy destinations within a few hours of Osaka.
Whether it be for a drink and a meal in Osaka , or a day or two in a nearby location , or some other completely different idea, I’d love to hear from you. Cheers , Marco.

Hi, I'm Cat from New Zealand (a young 52 :). I very spontaneously decided to stop over in Japan for 3 weeks, arriving this week on the 30th, staying until the 21st of November, without a plan (yet), and on a low budget.
