I already booked flights to and from Tokyo to stay in Japan all of March . I’m from Berlin and did some travelling, also a few trips solo, before. I’d love to see various cities and maybe some more rural parts all over Japan as well, preferably going by train. I’d be interested in some art workshops along the way as well. All the ideas you shared so far seemed pretty sweet !

I'm (32M, also from USA) currently in Tokyo and will be traveling on a budget-minded towards Sapporo on the 3/23 (Japan time), but will be making my way back on the 3/25 and continuing westward via JP rail to as far as Beppu Japan before 4/1 to catch their festival. I'll be expediting return after a 3 day stay there, as I leave Japan 4/9. Let me know ASAP if you'd like to accompany me on my planned journey (unfortunately, I cannot pay for train pass is all, as too expensive, but can pay for room / some food). If you're not comfortable traveling with, let me know if you'd like to meet up somewhere in Tokyo/westward, though I can't guarantee I'd be able to visit for long (as I do want to see Beppu before I go back).

I'm 33F, and also looking for a travel companion.
I'll be from 13-24.8. in Japan. 13-15.8 Tokyo, 15-20.8 in Osaka and again 20-24.8. in Tokyo.

It is also my first travel to Japan. So I would really like to see Kyoto or/and Nara for a day trip. Visiting some cultural stuff and also amusement parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios.

I came across your post while searching for a travel buddy to explore Mt Fuji/Kawaguchiko area and Kyoto. I’m 34/F, I’ll be in Mt Fuji 23/11 and Kyoto 27/11. My goal is to arrive early on these days, hopefully beat the crowds and capture some awesome pictures to take home precious memories. However, catching the autumn foliage without a crowd in these prime locations can only happen in early mornings when it is deserted and I would feel much safer and efficient with a travel buddy not to mention the added bonus of having someone to share the experience with.
