I will visit Japan in April, beginning in Osaka and ending in Tokyo. I am planning to visit Fukui, Kanazawa, Nagano, Nagoya, and Kyoto, but am flexible over itinerary. Me: American middle-aged male, 3 previous visits to Japan, much travel experience in Asia (and elsewhere).

Saurabh, Most likely we would coincide in Tokyo at the beginning of your time and the end of mine. I have visited Tokyo on three occasions for a total of about 3-4 weeks, so I am not so keen to spend time there on this visit rather than in places I haven't been at all. That's why I am starting in Osaka and planning to spend most of my time in Fukui and Kanazawa. But we could exchange contact information for Tokyo if you like.
