Looking for partner in Japan for April 2019

7 answers

I will visit Japan in April, beginning in Osaka and ending in Tokyo. I am planning to visit Fukui, Kanazawa, Nagano, Nagoya, and Kyoto, but am flexible over itinerary. Me: American middle-aged male, 3 previous visits to Japan, much travel experience in Asia (and elsewhere).

Hi Jack
Sounds like our paths may not cross?
I have planned 21st-26th in Tokyo, to get rid of jet lag.
After that, I don't have a fixed itinerary yet.
I'll be returning to the UK after 4 full weeks.

Saurabh, Most likely we would coincide in Tokyo at the beginning of your time and the end of mine. I have visited Tokyo on three occasions for a total of about 3-4 weeks, so I am not so keen to spend time there on this visit rather than in places I haven't been at all. That's why I am starting in Osaka and planning to spend most of my time in Fukui and Kanazawa. But we could exchange contact information for Tokyo if you like.

Sure, thanks.

As of now, my intention is to rent a pocket WiFi, so hopefully will be online most of the time.

As an experienced traveller to Japan, any tips from you most welcome since this will be my first time.
If you send me your WhatsApp, I would send you my provisional itinerary map.
Cheers.
