Hi. I’m from Singapore looking for a travel buddy (preferably female for safety reasons). This is my 1st trip to Japan. I’ll be arriving in Tokyo.
I’m planning to do roadtrip and hope to share cost for car rental and accommodation. I think it’s also easier to hv a buddy if eating out. Looking for a buddy to join me in the adventure.

Hi, I've been to Japan multiple times and thinking of doing a solo winter in January. Not sure if you would be keen to join in. I can be your driver n double up as a tour guide too. Lol. We can also meet up in SG where i could share more about Japan road trips.

Hi, your reply came up but you're not traveling until January, right?

Hi, I'm Cat from New Zealand (a young 52 :). I very spontaneously decided to stop over in Japan for 3 weeks, arriving in Narita this week on the 30th, staying until the 21st of November, without a plan (yet), and on a low budget. Would be great to have a travel buddy! What are your interests? I love anything in nature, and in particular hiking

Hi Cat
I too spontaneously booked a trip to Tokyo with no detailed plans! I’m arriving Narita on 10 Nov morning. I may do some road trips. In particular the Iroha turns at Nikko (fall colors might be nice in Nov). And yes, would like to do some hiking too.

Hi Doris :))) That might work, even though I arrive before you. Are you thinking of hiring a car, or using public transport?
PS: where are you from?

Hi Cat. I’m from Singapore :)
My trip is 10-20 Nov.
I’m thinking, take public transport in the city. And if want to explore outskirts, countryside,. hire a car.
I want to do the drive at Irohazaka winding road. There’s a lake nearby, so may explore the surrounding :)

Hi Doris, I just arrived to Tokyo. Public transport is working well it seems, I caught the airport bus and then a train.
Irohazaka winding road sounds fun... if you want to be the driver :)
Are you thinking of staying in Tokyo the entire time, and just doing day trips?
We leave around the same time which would work well. I'm just thinking where first...
