Travelling to Japan in early April 2023 for cherry blossoms

I'm Arya, late 20s, India. Travelling for a week or two in April 2023, dates flexible. Although I have the Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara route in my mind, I am open to switching to an offbeat circuit to beat the tourist rush, especially for the cherry blossoms. Looking to explore Edo neighbourhoods, shrines, hikes and culture, but also working in a trip to studio Ghibli or cosplay gokarting and the kind. Some transportation and accommodation budgeting ideas are in place too. I like learning new languages and cultures, and my hobbies range from sketching to dancing to gardening. Not all at the same time, though:) I am a very resourceful traveller, and I am looking forward to learn from you. Please let me know if you are interested, I'd be delighted to have the company.
