Bodyboarding in Japan ?

Hi!
Im visiting Japan for the first time. Im staying for 16 days in mid-June with my wife. I will stay 3 days in Osaka where we will continue to Shiga and Kyoto prefecture. We would love to visit an area in Japan where it would be possible to rent a bodyboard. I have tried to google information about bodyboarding in Japan but i haven't found any. I would assume that places that are popular among surfers could offer this activity. I haven't decided yet where to continue after Shiga and Kyoto. We are interested about visiting Shikoku or Shizuoka. Maybe somebody here could tip any places where this could be possible.
